Benefits Of Having A Workout Buddy

Sep 3, 2018 | fitness, Motivation

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel crossfit together. Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher go on hikes. Jennifer Lopez likes to practice her jazz routines with her real life Casper.

All the paparazzi shots of celebrity couples sweating it out together aren’t just a publicity stunt.

Research has shown that having a workout buddy is the smartest fitness choice one can make. So why just stop at taking your housemate for that run? I say, take your other half to be your partner-in-crime.

It won’t just force you out of bed (the one push we all need) but will challenge you both, help make exercise more fun and make you more accountable. This is a great routine to adopt for brides-to-be. Imagine all the wedding details you’d be able to discuss while jogging? Joy!

In the video below with Mornings9, I talk in detail about ways you can jazz exercise up with your partner, either outdoors or at the gym, and the benefits of having a workout buddy.

Also, host Sonia Kruger accidentally blurts out something hilarious around the 4:20 mark and trust me, you don’t want to miss that.
