Gym bags are a mystery. Majority of the time they are filled with too much junk (and unwashed laundry), but when it does get a good clean, gym bags are a saviour.

My gym bag has changed a lot over the years, with more additions than subtractions, if I were honest. But nevertheless, if you peep into my gym bag today, it’s filled with all necessary and important goodies that are absolutely vital for pre and post workout.

iPhone, full of music, Lorna Jane App, and Strava App as well as iPregnancy app.

Lorna Jane Gym Bag: The core of it all, I love Lorna Jane’s gym bags; they are super spacious, ultra light and just the perfect size to not overfill it with junk (vital!).

Weight training gloves: Extremely important for all women who weight train, I always have an extra pair in my bag because these bad boys tend to go missing quite often.

Rogue Fitness Wrist Wraps: These are really helpful and supportive when weight training, especially when doing bench presses, front squats and even, push-ups. They really prevent having those tender wrists post a good weight-lifting session.

iPhone arm band: If you’re like me who can’t seem to find a place to hook in the iPhone when working out, this genius arm band is for you (and me!).

Jaybird wireless headphones: These headphones are God sent; no long cords to contend with and no battling wires when doing a bicycle crunch. These wirelessly connect with iPhone or iPod – genius, I say.

Garmin Forerunner 620: This GPS heart rate monitor is absolutely vital, especially during my preggy days training.

Dermalogica oil-free matte spf 30 sunscreen: If you’re an outdoor trainer, don’t let those overcast days fool you, the UV rays are still as harmful despite the clouds. Slip, slop, slap this Dermalogica oil-free sunscreen on your face (Get yours from here) and then head outdoors.

Dermalogica skin purifying wipes: I always use these wipes immediately after training to prevent blocked pores, especially if I have to go for a meeting or appointment after a workout (get yours from here).

Clarins Huile Tonic Body Treatment Oil: I use this on my belly and boobs when pregnant to prevent stretch marks; it’s magic.

Deodorant: No brainer, really. This is a necessity for pre and post workout.

Batisse Dry Shampoo: Whoever invented this product deserves a medal on behalf of all the women in the world. It’s a perfect solution for sweaty workout hair, especially if you want to make a dash straight to the boardroom from the locker room.
