As you may have noticed, and I hope you have, but what was formerly known as AmeliaBurton.com.au has now gone through a very snazzy makeover, and there’s more than just a name change.

The new and improved AmeliaPhillips.com.au looks freshers, reads smarter, and is still full of credible articles with news, information and tips on health, fitness and nutrition.

To celebrate this new and improved version of my website, I’m holding a huge competition over at all my social media pages (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) with a giveaway from my generous friends at Fitness First. They are giving away one of my very lucky readers a 12-month Passport gym membership (to any branch in Australia). Yes, your 365-days of training is on us!

Coincidently, Fitness First also went through a little makeover while we were away, and returned with brand spankin’ new facilities and experiences, all dedicated to their members. Fitness First is now offering these very exciting new features:

  • Pay as you go: you don’t have to sign a contract (love!), and you can purchase passes in bulk for 10 or 20 sessions.
  • As a member, you can cancel at no charge, if you train three times per week, no fees attached.
  • New You Awards: As a new member, you can nominate yourself for a category and set goals to achieve in six months time. If you achieve it, you’re in the run to win a ‘New You’ award.
  • Added new zone training and group fitness classes. Selective gyms will have a 20-30 minute HIIT session in small groups too; quick and effective.

Now, to win this competition, this is what you’ve got to do:

1. Share a photo (or a montage image) on one/all my social media platforms to show how YOU are living a healthy, active life (be creative and fun).
2. Tag @AmeliaBurton page + #ActiveMe.
3. Like Fitness First’s social media pages.
4. Follow the T+C for all individual social media platforms (more on that below).

Entries close 23.59 EST on May 4, 2014. Multiple (but different images) entries are permitted.
